2007-2009 Goals.
- Complete contruction of the school and teachers' quarters by the end of 2007.
- Initiate a comprehensive environmental education program as part of the school curriculum.
- Start a community camp-site for tourists, which will be the base for walking safaris, curio shops and other income generating activities for the community.
- Manage a 150 sq. km wildlife corridor between Tarangire National Park and the adjacent Simanjiro plains. Plans include consolidating all farming activities to the edge of the corridor, while at the same time increasing acreage of the farms. Keeping the corridor viable for both wildlife and a reservoir grazing area for cattle and goats. This area will also serve as the primary location for walking safaris.

- Expand the honey- bee project
- Expand the nursery projects
- Construct a new community well
- HAPA is researching the possibility and viability of initiating the planting of the Jatropha plant, a drought tolerant plant, which is used in the production of bio-diesel.
- Work with governmental and non-governmental organizations to establish and coordinate a regional, sustainable environmental plan, which benefits both human populations and wildlife habitat.
